"Face the Sun" features original compositions by pianist/composer Brooks Hartell with performances by Bassist Corcoran Holt (currently recording and performing with saxophonist Javon Jackson and legendary drummer Jimmy Cobb and also with Trombone legend Curtis Fuller) and Ryan Moran (recording and performing internationally with the acclaimed touring band Slightly Stoopid) on drums. The CD also features special guests Evan Schwam on tenor saxophone/flute and Jeremy Carstedt on drums who are both members of Jazz icon Chico Hamilton's group Euphoria.
